What does YHWH mean?????

I felt compelled to get this information out there as it is very profound and once again shows the depth of the Hebrew written language, a written language given to Moses on Mount Sinai. GOD's plan of Salvation through Christ was established from the beginning and therefore something one can learn when we search the Scriptures to the point of going back to the original written language GOD used to convey His complete plan to those who sought out the Truth.

The TetragrammatonThe four Hebrew letters of 'Yud-Hey-Vav-Hey' that comprise one of the names for God Almighty are often referred to by biblical scholars as the 'Tetragrammaton', which is merely a Greek term for something with four letters. The Tetragrammaton should not be confused with any of the other names for God in the Bible, such as Shaddai or Eloheem, but is specifically reserved to describe the name 'Yahweh'. 

As we've learned in previous lesson, Hebrew was read from right to left, so the name 'Yahweh' shown in the adjacent illustration is presented in that way, beginning with the 'Yud' on the far right, following by a 'Hey', and then a 'Vav', and then another 'Hey'. While the third letter of 'Vav' can be either a consonant or a vowel, it serves as a consonant with a 'W' sound in this instance, and the appropriate vowel points must be inferred. This is quite typical for Hebrew. All we really need to know in this instance is that the four letters that would equate to 'Y-H-W-H' in English would actually have two inferred vowels, and would sound like 'Yahweh'. Here I would like to impart upon you the results of my in-depth investigation into the true name of GOD. In Psalm 83 King David tells us straight forwardly that GOD true name is Jehovah as interpreted but in Hebrew that name is Yahuwah.

The PictographsThe first letter of the Tetragrammaton is the 'Yud', which appropriately has a 'Y' sound in English. The 'Yud' in pictographic form depicts and arm and a hand, and has the various meanings of 'Work' or 'Throw' or 'Worship'. However, the picture itself can also be employed in these instances, therefore the meaning can simply be 'Arm' or 'Hand' or both 'Arm and Hand'.



The next letter would be the 'Hey', which once again has the English sound 'H', just as we would imagine. The 'Hey' in this picture is that of a man standing up, with his arms held up in the air as if to say "Hey, look!" It represents the act of getting one's attention for a specific purpose. So the various meanings of the letter are about what you might expect, suggesting 'Look' or 'Reveal', but it can also mean 'Breathe'.



The third letter is the 'Vav', which can have the English sound 'V', as by now you would expect, but the ancient form of the Vav carried a 'W' sound, and was called the 'Waw'. But the Vav also can sound like an 'O' or a 'U', making it a very versatile letter. It's both a consonant and a vowel, depending on how it it used. You can see from the picture that it represents a tent peg or nail, and it has the meaning of 'Add' or 'Secure' or 'Hook'. But as with the other pictographs, it can also simply mean 'Peg' or 'Nail'.

Okay, finally we have the last letter of God's name, another 'Hey', which once again depicts someone trying to get our attention. As with the other 'Hey' above, this again means to 'Look' or to 'Reveal', or alternatively can mean 'Breathe'. At first it may seem wierd that we would have two Heys in such a short name, and in the modern Hebrew letters one wouldn't suspect the reason for this.  But in a moment it will make plenty of sense.

Simple Answers

I have received a few questions about my presentation of the history of the Blood Moon Tetrad in the affairs of Jews and Gentiles over the past 2000 years.  After reading and answering them perhaps I need to reiterate what these “Signs in the Heavens” mean us today is an alarm to notify believers that we have now entered a specific time when prophetical events begin to take shape and we will clearly see them if we have eyes to see and ears to hear what the Prophets have told us in scripture. These signs are merely telling us to pay closer attention, make sure you are anchored in the simplicity that is Gods gifts us i.e. Believe God as did Abraham, Believe Yahshua (Jesus is a Greek name), Believe in the Blood of the Messiah that has cleansed you and Believe in the Holy Spirit which is your direct line from God. If your anchor is true and held fast in the Truth then none of these signs will worry you but rather bring a sense of wonder and a confident smile that Gods plan is before us and it is revealing itself through the “signs in the heavens”.

The bottom line is that people, all people today are inundated with wall to wall polls, facts and non-facts, numbers, charts etc. that they are unaware that they are being buried beneath a mountain of nonsense designed to looked and feel informative and enlightening when in fact it is a tool of distraction from the truth and what truly matters to you and your soul. So don’t make your own mountain out minutia and nonsense simply know that God is revealing himself to you and the world today, which one will see it.  

America's Future is Written and Available

I don't know if everyone here knows that I have studied the Bible since I was a puppy, so it would be a good guess that I am a Christian. My studies have revealed more and more jaw dropping truths over the past few years, an indication that the curtain is slowly being pulled back to reveal so much more than we have ever known about how the Bible works. You have heard that bad things in history will repeat if history isn't studied and understood and the people are forewarned. The same thing applies to the Bible but on an imminently larger scale that involves all people, believers and non-believers alike. As a nation we have reached a new level of descent away from our countries founding principles, ideals and respect of God. We have had two important events over the past 12 years that were meant to awaken us and send us back to our original beliefs, we have ignored these warnings. In fact, as a nation we have moved further away from God and deeper into the arms of Humanism which is anti-God. God has always shown great patience when trying to turn a people around but that patience does not extend without end. American politicians are the representatives of the people and therefore the voice of the nation. When they repeated a scripture from Isaiah on national TV 3 different times in relation to answering the attacks of 2001 and the economic catastrophe exactly 7 years later they were repeating a curse.  Thinking it was a nice little passage from the Bible that seemed to have some relevance to current events they spoke without understanding and with total ignorance of what the words actually meant. They didn't understand the context and that it was the nation of Israel’s leader’s publicly stating that they turned their backs on God and stubbornly trusted in their own power, the power of Humanism.  Both Republican's and Democrat's repeated this curse without knowing what they were saying but they were challenging God, although inadvertently it was never the less an open and public statement and the voice of the nation. The road America the road we have travelled for 40 years or more and it is a destructive collision course. The only reprieve possible know is a nationwide revival and turning back to God as an entire nation which we all know will never happen in this day and new age of what the Aleister Crowley is quoted as saying was the new age mantra, "Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law." The nation has chosen this path will have to live and die with it. I should tell you here that everything that has occurred is EXACTLY and I mean EXACTLY down to each action and each word as recorded in the Bible. If you want to know what happens next it is all in the book of Isaiah. I don't really don’t expect anyone care any longer, a harden heart can be impenetrable but not unknown to have happened. These days are exactly as they were in the past and these challenges to God will be answered exactly as they were in the past. The future is written down for all to read and understand because the veils of secrecy have been lifted, you need only look and you will find it. God said "My people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge." The knowledge is an open book to all. What you do with this knowledge is up to you, my part is done.
